ABOUT US
We are a 6th generation family farm in the Snohomish Valley with the mission of offering children aged 6-11 an opportunity to connect with nature and unplug from technology. Bailey Farm Camp offers creative ways to connect with nature and animals through farm activities and child-led creative play. The camp offers a chance for kids to deepen their understanding of and respect for food, the land it grows on and animals. A week spent outdoors, playing, learning and exploring nature can motivate kids to engage with their environment in new ways and create more balance in our technology driven society.
Summer Schedule

Leadership Opportunities Available!
12-13 year olds can now attend farm camp as camp counselors! This experience provides a leadership opportunity with farm and animal fun. Camp counselors will gain real-world experience helping with camp activities, mentoring camp kids, and working with a teacher to create a fun and wonderful camp experience.

Camp Features

Harvesting
The harvesting process is a chance for children to see where their food comes from and become more in tune with nature. We have a one-acre Kid’s garden specifically designed to have campers harvest from and plant in. Campers get the opportunity to grow and taste fruits, vegetables and herbs. Many of these are incorporated into daily snacks and Friday’s cookout meal.

Planting
The planting process or educational gardening is an opportunity for campers to learn about how foods grow as well as different agricultural practices to foster a better understanding of the world around them. In addition, they will learn about the land they are on and other significant factors in the planting process. Campers will be able to plant a pumpkin seed in the summer and come back in October to harvest their pumpkin.

Animal Experiences
Campers will have the rare opportunity to reconnect with the joys and satisfaction of the natural world by interacting with the various animals on our 55 acre property, including horses, goats and chickens. Campers will be able to engage with the animals at their comfort level and learn about the specific animals as well as animal husbandry and best practices.

Crafts and More
Campers will also have the chance to participate in a range of activities. Our barns are a perfect venue for children to create seasonal projects and crafts and play games in our hay maze. Other activities include indoor and outdoor games, nature games like scavenger hunts and more! We will also allow time for group play and more tailored experiences.
